Use the UAE Fast Track App

First-time visitors arriving at Abu Dhabi’s Zayed International Airport can utilize the UAE Fast Track app, developed by the Federal Authority for Identity, Citizenship, Customs and Port Security.

This app allows users to pre-register their passport, arrival details, and biometric data, cutting immigration processing time to under five minutes.

The process includes:

  1. Selecting your entry route (air, land, or sea).
  2. Choosing your entry point and date of arrival.
  3. Scanning your travel document with your smartphone.
  4. Taking a photo of your face and capturing fingerprints.
  5. Providing additional personal details.

For UAE Residents

UAE residents can benefit from Smart Gates at Dubai International Airport and biometric eGates at major airports, including Abu Dhabi.

If you’re a visitor arriving in Dubai, check if you’re registered for Smart Gates by visiting the GDRFA-Dubai website and entering your passport number.

Who Can Use Smart Gates?

Eligible users include:

  • UAE nationals and GCC nationals
  • UAE residents
  • Visa-on-arrival guests with biometric passports
  • Guests who have recently traveled through DXB

Important Notes

Those who should avoid using Smart Gates include families with small children, guests under 15, and people of determination.

Once registered, passing through the gates is seamless—simply look at the green light and keep your passport handy for verification.

By utilizing these technologies, travelers can make their airport experience much smoother and quicker, ensuring a hassle-free entry into the UAE.
