UAE Announces Petrol and Diesel Prices for August 2025

The UAE has officially announced the fuel prices for August, effective from August 1. Following a slight increase in July.

The new rates are as follows:

• Super 98 petrol: Dh2.69 per litre (down from Dh2.70 in July)
• Special 95 petrol: Dh2.57 per litre (down from Dh2.58)
• E-Plus 91 petrol: Dh2.50 per litre (down from Dh2.51)
• Diesel: Dh2.78 per litre (up from Dh2.63)

This pricing structure reflects the UAE’s commitment to aligning fuel prices with global market rates, a policy implemented ten years ago.

Stable petrol prices play a vital role in controlling inflation and transportation costs, ensuring the UAE remains among the countries with the lowest fuel prices globally, averaging Dh2.58 per litre.
