How to Pay for Parking Across the UAE Using One App?
DUBAI: Drivers in the UAE can now simplify their parking experience with the Parkin app, which allows users to pay for parking in multiple emirates including Dubai, Abu Dhabi, Sharjah, and Ajman.
The app connects to each emirate’s SMS-based mParking service, making it easier for motorists to navigate varying parking rules and fees.

To use the app, users can download it from their app store, select the emirate and parking duration, and enter their vehicle details.
The app generates a pre-filled SMS with the correct format to send, and the parking fee is deducted directly from the user’s mobile balance.
Each emirate has specific parking hours and fees:
- Abu Dhabi: Paid parking operates from 8 AM to midnight, Monday to Saturday, with rates of Dh2 per hour in standard zones and Dh3 in premium zones.
- Sharjah: Parking zones operate from 8 AM to 10 PM, Saturday to Thursday, charging Dh2 per hour.
- Ajman: Paid parking hours are from 8 AM to 1 PM and 5 PM to 10 PM, Saturday through Thursday.
This service is available for e&, du, and Virgin Mobile subscribers, and users are reminded to ensure sufficient balance in their mobile accounts for parking fees and a small telecom charge.
The Parkin app offers a centralized solution for managing parking across the UAE, enhancing convenience for drivers.
