UAE: US Military at Al Dhafra Base Boosts Precautions After Iran’s Attack on Qatar

ABU DHABI – The US military is implementing heightened security measures at the Al Dhafra Air Base in the UAE after an Iranian attack on the US military base in Al Udeid, Qatar.
The United States Air Forces Central Command (AFCENT) confirmed that they are taking appropriate precautions to ensure the safety of airmen stationed in Abu Dhabi.

In a statement to Khaleej Times, AFCENT emphasized that due to operational security, they cannot disclose specific details about personnel deployments or capabilities.
However, they assured that measures are in place to safeguard against any potential threats.
The UAE government condemned Iran’s targeting of the Al Udeid base, calling it a violation of Qatar’s sovereignty and a breach of international law.
The UAE affirmed its commitment to regional stability and security, rejecting any actions that threaten its neighbors.
