Dhaka to Doha all Flights Suspended Until Further Notice

Qatar has announced the temporary closure of its airspace, citing the ongoing global situation, leading to the suspension of all commercial flights to and from Doha until further notice.

In an official statement, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Qatar confirmed that all inbound and outbound flights via Doha will be halted.

The air traffic control authority has indicated that Qatar’s Flight Information Region (FIR: OTDF) will be closed to all aircraft operations until further instructions are provided.

This development has resulted in a complete stoppage of air traffic on the busy Dhaka-Doha route, affecting both departing and arriving passengers.

Authorities at Hazrat Shahjalal International Airport are advising travelers scheduled to fly to Doha to reach out to their airline offices for assistance in rescheduling their travel plans and adhering to the updated directives.

It is important to note that approximately 1,300 passengers typically travel on the Dhaka-Doha route daily, making the suspension likely to disrupt the plans of many flyers.
