Penalty for Violating the Ban on Working Under Direct Sunlight

According to Fayez Al-Shihan, a member of the Human Resources and Labor Market Committee at the Riyadh Chamber, the penalty for violating the ban on working under direct sunlight will range from 3,000 to 10,000 riyals per worker.

This ban is enforced from June 15, 2025, to September 15, 2025, prohibiting work in the private sector between 12 PM and 3 PM. Additionally, facilities may face temporary shutdowns for up to 30 days for violations, or both penalties may be imposed.
