Minor International is hiring a Full-time AC Technician to join the engineering team at the Souq Al Wakra Hotel Qatar by Tivoli.

This role involves installing, servicing, and repairing temperature and air quality control systems to ensure optimal comfort for hotel guests.

Key Responsibilities:
- Repair and maintain electrical and mechanical refrigeration systems such as freezers, fridges, ice makers, fan coil units, and chillers.
- Conduct preventive maintenance for all air-conditioning and refrigeration systems.
- Monitor system performance and check door closing mechanisms on walk-in coolers and freezers.
- Maintain defrosting systems and automation of ice makers.
- Respond to maintenance requests from various departments.
- Clean fan coil units and air-handling unit filters regularly.
- Collaborate with engineering colleagues to diagnose and resolve system failures.
- Ensure strict environmental controls, such as preventing CFC venting.
- Overhaul air-conditioning and refrigeration equipment as needed.
- Follow country technical regulations and safety standards.
Qualifications:
- Technical or vocational training certification.
- Minimum one year experience in a hotel engineering department.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and electrical schematics.
- Experience with VRF/VRV systems is an advantage.
