Mondrian Doha, a luxury lifestyle hotel known for its vibrant atmosphere, is seeking an experienced HVAC Technician to join their engineering team.

Reporting to the Director of Engineering or other authorized management, the successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining the hotel’s equipment and facilities to the highest standards.

Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee the maintenance and testing of plant equipment including chillers, AC units, pumps, and boilers.
- Repair and maintain refrigeration systems, walk-in coolers, and freezers.
- Ensure all health and safety records are properly logged and maintained.
- Manage supplier contracts and oversee the work of external contractors.
- Organize work schedules, risk assessments, and emergency on-call duties.
- Perform preventive maintenance checks and servicing of HVAC systems.
- Participate in the hotel’s energy conservation program and attend relevant training.
- Supervise the engineering team and external contractors to meet deadlines and quality standards.
- Liaise with other departments and assist in any emergencies that may arise.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience as an HVAC Technician, preferably in a luxury hotel or resort setting.
- Strong knowledge of HVAC systems maintenance and troubleshooting.
- Ability to work collaboratively and prioritize tasks effectively.
- Excellent communication skills and commitment to safety protocols.
- Familiarity with relevant health and safety regulations.
