Key Responsibilities

  • Maintain all Ground Support Equipment in a serviceable and safe condition.
  • Conduct routine inspections according to manufacturer recommendations.
  • Record inspections, rectifications, and actions taken in maintenance logs.
  • Liaise with the Purchasing Section to ensure timely availability of spare parts.
  • Recommend additional and replacement equipment as needed.
  • Provide status reports on equipment location and serviceability.
  • Operate equipment and tooling to meet productivity standards.
  • Work independently to complete assigned tasks effectively.

Qualifications

  • Relevant vocational or trade qualification.
  • Approved Trade Apprenticeship.
  • Mechanical experience is essential.
  • Thorough knowledge of aircraft ground support equipment.
