Recommended vaccines for certain groups include pneumococcal vaccines and two doses of the COVID-19 vaccine.
Pilgrims should keep an International Vaccination Card, which can be obtained through authorized health centers in the UAE.

In addition to vaccinations, the MOHAP suggests that pilgrims pack personal care items, schedule a pre-travel consultation with their doctor at least a month prior, and carry sufficient medication for chronic conditions.
To maintain health during Hajj, pilgrims should practice good hygiene by washing hands frequently and avoiding contact with sick individuals.
Staying hydrated, wearing light clothing, and resting in shaded areas are crucial for preventing heat-related illnesses.
A well-stocked first aid kit is also recommended, including medications for common ailments and supplies for emergencies. By following these guidelines, UAE pilgrims can ensure a safe and fulfilling Hajj experience.
