Dubai Police Retrieve Bag with Dh102,000 Cash and Passports in 30 Minutes

Dubai Police successfully located and returned a bag filled with Dh102,000 in cash and passports within half an hour after receiving a report.

The incident occurred at Terminal 1 of Dubai Airport, involving two Kuwaiti brothers who had left the bag behind in their rush to catch a flight following the news of a family member’s passing.

After realizing their bag was missing, the brothers informed their sister, who immediately reported the situation to airport authorities.

Hamouda Belsuwaida Al Ameri, Director of the General Department of Airport Security, praised the prompt actions of the specialized Lost and Found team, which efficiently located the bag and returned it to the brothers’ sister.

Al Ameri reaffirmed Dubai Police’s commitment to maintaining high security standards at the airport, ensuring a seamless travel experience for passengers.

This incident highlights the department’s effectiveness in managing lost property cases swiftly and accurately.
