The Ministry of Hajj and Umrah has announced that the final date for Umrah pilgrims to enter Saudi Arabia is April 13. This announcement is part of the preparations for the upcoming Hajj season.

The deadline for pilgrims to depart the Kingdom is April 29, and staying beyond this date will be considered a violation, subject to legal penalties.

Visa and Permit Requirements

Pilgrims wishing to perform Umrah must first obtain a visa and then secure an Umrah permit through the Nusuk app. It is crucial for pilgrims to ensure they use services from licensed operators.

These operators must be approved by the General Authority of Islamic Affairs and Endowments. Individuals, campaign organizers, and offices that violate the regulations may face fines of up to Dh50,000.

Time Slot Selection

When performing Umrah, pilgrims are required to select a time slot for their pilgrimage, with only one slot permitted per day.

  • Jewellery and Gold Shops
  • Malls and Markets with over 30 stores or over 3,000 square meters
  • Residential Compounds with more than 10 villas or 50 units
  • Employee Housing managed by HR firms
  • Car Dealerships and heavy equipment centers over 2,000 square meters
  • Commercial Towers with over 50 rental units
  • Amusement Parks and tourist venues over 3,000 square meters
  • Private Libraries larger than 2,000 square meters
  • Additional entities as specified by regulatory authorities

  • Factories and Warehouses may also be required to maintain 24-hour private security, based on directives from regional police authorities and feasibility studies conducted by licensed security consultants.
