Eid al-Fitr Prayer at 5:43 AM in 690 Mosques in Qatar

Eid al-Fitr Prayer Scheduled for 5:43 AM in 690 Mosques Across Qatar
Doha, Qatar – In anticipation of Eid al-Fitr, the Ministry of Endowments and Islamic Affairs (Awqaf) has announced that 690 mosques and designated prayer grounds across Qatar will host the special Eid prayer at precisely 5:43 AM on the first day of the festive occasion.

The announcement comes as the country prepares to celebrate the end of Ramadan, a holy month marked by fasting, prayer, and reflection for Muslims worldwide.
The Eid al-Fitr prayer, a significant religious observance, will be conducted in compliance with health and safety guidelines to ensure worshippers can perform their prayers comfortably and securely.
Awqaf has urged the public to arrive early to avoid overcrowding and to follow any instructions from mosque officials.
The ministry also reminded worshippers to maintain cleanliness and adhere to Islamic etiquette during the prayer, including dressing modestly and bringing their own prayer mats if possible.

Eid al-Fitr, known as the “Festival of Breaking the Fast,” is a time of joy, gratitude, and community gatherings.
In addition to the prayers, families and friends across Qatar will exchange greetings, share meals, and participate in various festivities to mark the occasion.
The exact date of Eid al-Fitr will be confirmed by the Moon-sighting committee, as it depends on the sighting of the new crescent moon. However, Awqaf’s announcement ensures that preparations are in place for a smooth and spiritually uplifting celebration.
Further details regarding additional Eid activities and any special arrangements will be communicated by the ministry in the coming days.
The ministry has made available a list of the participating mosques and their locations on its official portal.
