Dubai: The UAE has secured its position as the second safest country globally, achieving a notable safety index score of 84.5, according to the 2025 Safety Index released by Numbeo.
Andorra tops the list with a score of 84.7, while Qatar follows closely in third place with a score of 84.2. Oman also made the top five, ranking fifth overall.

This ranking underscores the UAE’s commitment to safety and security, further reinforced by its designation as having the second-lowest crime rate in the 2025 Crime Index by Numbeo.

The 2025 Safety Index highlights the dominance of GCC countries in global safety rankings, reflecting their collective efforts to maintain secure environments for residents and visitors alike.
The full list of the 20 safest countries includes notable mentions such as Taiwan, Hong Kong, and Japan, among others.
