Dubai resident Lilik Priyadi plans to explore various mosques for nightly prayers, having already visited seven this Ramadan.

“Every mosque visit is an opportunity to meet new people,” he shared, highlighting Dubai’s multicultural environment. Despite missing the traditional street food culture of Indonesia, he appreciates the diverse culinary offerings in the city.

To accommodate the expected increase in worshippers, Dubai Police have completed preparations for the busy nights, ensuring safe access and adequate parking at mosques.

The last 10 days are also significant for observing Laylatul Qadr, the Night of Decree, believed to fall on one of the odd nights of this period.

Abu Dhabi resident Mohamed Faisal shared the challenges of balancing night prayers with caring for his newborn twins but emphasized the spiritual rewards of these nights.

For many, such as Dubai resident Mehnaz Anshah, the final nights are a family affair. She looks forward to attending prayers with her husband and visiting mother-in-law, often stopping for a meal afterward to recreate cherished Ramadan memories.

As the community prepares for these sacred nights, renowned Quran reciters from across the region will lead prayers, adding to the spiritual atmosphere of Ramadan’s concluding days.
