Eid Al Fitr 2025: UAE Announces Public Sector Holiday Dates

The Federal Authority for Government Human Resources (FAHR) has officially announced the Eid Al Fitr holiday for the federal government sector in the UAE.

The holiday will be observed from 1st to 3rd Shawwal 1446 AH, with work resuming on 4th Shawwal.
In the event that Ramadan concludes with 30 days, the 30th of Ramadan will be recognized as an additional public holiday, extending the Eid Al Fitr break for employees.

On this occasion, FAHR extended its congratulations to the UAE government, its citizens, residents, and the wider Arab and Islamic communities, wishing everyone prosperity and well-being.
