Ramadan 2025: Revised Paid Public Parking Hours Across the UAE

As Ramadan 2025 begins, authorities across the UAE have announced changes to paid public parking hours to accommodate the holy month. While some emirates are offering free parking periods, others are extending paid parking times.

Dubai
In Dubai, paid parking will operate in two segments from Monday to Saturday. Charges will apply from 8 AM to 6 PM and again from 8 PM to midnight. Parking will be free between 6 PM and 8 PM and entirely free on Sundays. Multi-level parking facilities will remain open 24/7.
Sharjah
Sharjah has increased its paid parking hours, now charging from 8 AM until midnight, which is two hours longer than the usual 8 AM to 10 PM schedule. Free parking will continue on Fridays.

Ajman
Ajman has also revised its parking schedule, with fees applicable from 9 AM to 1 PM and from 8 PM to midnight, offering free parking from 1 PM to 8 PM.
Abu Dhabi
In Abu Dhabi, paid parking hours remain unchanged, with Mawaqif operating from 8 AM to 12 PM. However, toll gate hours will adjust during Ramadan, charging motorists from 8 AM to 10 AM and 2 PM to 4 PM from Monday to Saturday. Sundays will remain free.
Authorities remind motorists to remain vigilant during Ramadan, especially during pre-Iftar periods, as traffic accidents tend to increase.
