MOCI Qatar Closes 12 Businesses for Violating Consumer Protection Regulations

The Ministry of Commerce and Industry has announced the closure of 12 commercial establishments for a period of 30 days due to violations of Article (11) of Law No. (8) of 2008 concerning consumer protection.
The violations included failure to comply with agreements made with customers and refusal to issue refunds.

Details of the Violations
The establishments were penalized for not adhering to contractual obligations and refusing to refund customers. As a result, the Ministry imposed a penalty of complete closure for one month.
