Job Description:
Sedra Arjaan by Rotana is looking for a passionate and dynamic A/C Technician to deliver excellent customer service and provide creative solutions.
The A/C Technician will be responsible for installing, servicing, and repairing temperature and air quality control systems.
Responsibilities:
- Repair and maintain electrical and mechanical refrigeration systems (freezers, fridges, ice makers, fan coil units, chillers, etc.).
- Perform preventative maintenance on air-conditioning and refrigeration systems.
- Monitor the performance of refrigeration systems and components.
- Verify door closing systems on walk-in coolers/freezers.
- Maintain defrosting systems and automation of ice makers.
- Handle maintenance requests from all departments.
- Ensure routine cleaning of fan coil units and air-handling unit filters.

- Monitor the performance of air-conditioning and chill water systems.
- Collaborate with engineering colleagues to detect failures in air-conditioning and refrigeration systems.
- Strictly control the venting of CFCs into the atmosphere.
- Overhaul air-conditioning/refrigeration equipment and systems.
- Check refrigeration and oil levels and control major repairs.
- Cooperate with the Engineering Storekeeper on the purchase of parts.
- Carry out all works as per the country’s technical regulations and safety standards.
Skills and Qualifications:
- A diploma in maintenance of refrigeration systems or building services engineering.
- Previous experience in a similar role.
- Proven knowledge in the operation and maintenance of equipment.
- Good command of English.
- Ability to find fault and rectify subsystems.
