Maj. Matar Abdullah Al Muhiri from the Deputy Directorate of Traffic Affairs emphasized the importance of recognizing safe drivers, stating, “The Abu Dhabi Police will continue rewarding those who drive safely so they can serve as role models for others.”

Col. Jaber Saeedan Mansouri, director of the Department of Traffic and Security Patrol in Al Ain, added that such initiatives help reduce accidents and protect lives on the road.

A Broader Movement Across the UAE

This rewarding approach is not limited to Abu Dhabi. Police forces in other emirates, including Dubai, have also acknowledged safe drivers.

In 2024, 22 motorists in Dubai were celebrated for not committing any traffic offenses or causing accidents over a three-year period.

These initiatives reflect a growing commitment across the UAE to enhance road safety and create a more positive driving environment for all.
