Unlimited Bus Travel in Abu Dhabi for Dh35: Here’s How to Get Your Pass!

If you’re a short-term visitor or need to use public buses in Abu Dhabi, you can get a cost-effective weekly or monthly transport pass from Abu Dhabi Mobility (AD Mobility).
These passes allow unlimited travel on buses within Abu Dhabi city, Al Ain, and Al Dhafra, but they don’t cover intercity trips.

What You Need
To obtain a pass, you’ll need a Hafilat Smart Card, which comes in two options:
- Anonymous Hafilat Card:
- Costs Dh10
- Valid for 16 years
- Easy to get, but does not allow balance transfer if lost unless linked to an Emirates ID.
- Personalised Hafilat Card:
- For seniors, people of determination, and students
- Offers subsidised rates
- Linked to an Emirates ID, allowing balance transfer if lost.

- Sales and recharge machines (check locations on the Darbi website: darbi.itc.gov.ae)
- Customer Happiness Offices at bus stations and Zayed International Airport
- Abu Dhabi Cooperative Society (SPAR)
- Al Ain Cooperative Society
- Lulu Hypermarket and Lulu Exchange branches in Abu Dhabi, Al Ain, and Al Dhafra
Seniors and people of determination can get a monthly pass at a subsidised rate of Dh80 by presenting a valid Emirates ID at a Customer Happiness Office.
