Conversion Process

For du Users
  1. Download the du App: Install it on your eSIM-compatible device.
  2. Log In: Access the app with your credentials.
  3. Manage Your SIM: Select the option to manage your SIM.
  4. Convert to eSIM: Choose ‘Convert to eSIM’ and verify your request using UAE PASS.
  5. Activation: Once verified, the eSIM will be added to your device.

To transfer your eSIM to a new device:

  • Open the du app and log in.
  • Tap on ‘Manage your SIM’ and select ‘Activate eSIM on this device.’
  • Complete the verification process.

For e& Users
  1. Install the e& App: Get the app on your device.
  2. Log In: Use your UAE PASS to access your account.
  3. Manage SIM Cards: Select the SIM you wish to convert.
  4. Switch to eSIM: Follow the prompts to complete the conversion.

For Virgin Mobile Users
  1. Access the Virgin Mobile App: Log in to your account.
  2. Move to eSIM: Select ‘Move to eSIM’ from your account settings.

  • du and Virgin Mobile: eSIM activation is free of charge.
  • e&: Activation through the app is free as part of a promotion; however, transferring eSIM between devices incurs a fee of Dh25 plus VAT.
