About the role:

Responsible for maximising sales and profit, ensuring achievement of target through the delivery of world-class customer service and effective merchandising. Oversee and manage the day-to-day operations of QDF business including a multitude of high-profile brands.

Key responsibilities of the job:

  • Lead, manage and develop the retail team to deliver sales targets through delivery of excellent customer service and operational standards.
  • Manage the entire retail operations in accordance with company policy so as to establish an operation that not only meets but exceeds performance levels.

  • Maximise sales and profits through correct planning, forecasting and allocation of resources.
  • Manage all brand concessions and ensure that their standards are adhered to.
  • Ensure promotional programs are implemented to agreed deadlines with all supporting materials and stock in line with supplier agreements to maximise sales.

Experience, Skills and Qualifications:

An ideal Candidate must meet below Qualifications and Experience:

  • High School Qualification / Vocational Qualification /Diploma or Equivalent with Minimum 9 years of job-related experience OR Bachelor’s Degree or Equivalent with Minimum 8 years of job-related experience.
  • Experience in retail developing, managing and influencing people and the bottom line results is essential.

  • Experience in customer facing and fast paced business.
  • Operational knowledge of a Retail Environment.
  • Experience working in the Middle East; international business or luxury market experience is desirable.
  • It is preferred to have a prior experience within a Duty Free or an airport.
