Will UAE National Day 2025 Holiday Extend to Five Days?
Dubai: UAE residents are eagerly anticipating the last two public holidays of 2025, as confirmed by the UAE Cabinet’s official holiday calendar.
Following the upcoming observance of Prophet Muhammad’s (PBUH) birthday, which is expected to be celebrated on either September 4 or 5, attention turns to UAE National Day in December.

The National Day holiday will officially take place on Tuesday, December 2, and Wednesday, December 3.
There is a possibility of extending this break to five days if the government designates Monday, December 1, as an additional holiday. This would create a long weekend from Friday, November 28, through Wednesday, December 3.
The UAE Cabinet has the authority to adjust public holidays, excluding Eid, to create long weekends. The final decision regarding the potential five-day break will be announced closer to the date.
