UAE: Fujairah Unveils Viral Musical Road: Discover How It Works!

Fujairah has introduced the UAE’s first-ever “Musical Road,” a unique stretch of Sheikh Khalifa Street that transforms an ordinary commute into a melodic experience featuring Beethoven’s Ninth Symphony.

This nearly 1-km installation, located near the Fujairah Police Headquarters, has quickly gained popularity on social media.

The road features specially-engineered rumble strips designed to play musical notes as vehicles pass over them at a steady speed of about 105 km/h.

The grooves are precisely spaced to create a recognizable melody, making the road not just a travel route but a cultural attraction.

However, Fujairah’s version aims to enhance tourism and promote local pride while encouraging safer driving habits through its unique design.
