The Ministry clarified that the individual misrepresented his previous role as a trainee assistant in research at a local institution in Qatar to lend credibility to his claims. “His role was limited to interacting with participants in research studies,” the Ministry stated.
Furthermore, the MoPH emphasized that the individual is not a qualified diabetes specialist and is not licensed to provide medical consultations. Additionally, he is no longer employed in Qatar.
For verification of the license status of any healthcare practitioner in Qatar, the Ministry advises the public to use the “Find a Registered Healthcare Practitioner” service available here.
