Sharjah Police Seize 3.5 Million Captagon Pills Valued at Over Dh19 Million

In a significant operation, Sharjah Police have intercepted over 3.5 million Captagon pills, valued at more than AED 19 million.
This successful raid was part of a coordinated effort dubbed “Depths of Darkness,” aimed at dismantling a criminal network involved in drug trafficking.

The operation, conducted in collaboration with Abu Dhabi Police and the Federal General Department of Anti-Narcotics, involved extensive surveillance and monitoring of the suspects.
The pills, weighing approximately 585 kilograms, were cleverly concealed and buried by the smugglers in an attempt to evade detection.
Authorities reported that the gang used sophisticated methods to hide the narcotics, but their plans were thwarted by the swift actions of law enforcement.
This seizure reflects the UAE’s ongoing commitment to combat drug trafficking and ensure public safety.
