Private sector employees in the UAE will enjoy a paid holiday on Friday, June 27, to celebrate the Islamic New Year, marking the start of Hijri year 1447 AH.

Employees who have Saturday and Sunday as their weekend will benefit from a three-day break from June 27 to June 29, with regular working hours resuming on Monday, June 30.
Public sector employees will also receive the same holiday.
This holiday follows the extended break many residents experienced during the Eid Al Adha celebrations earlier this month.
The unified holiday policy ensures that both public and private sector workers receive equal time off throughout the year.
