Qatar Duty Free is seeking a dynamic Shop Supervisor to support the Duty Manager in managing shift operations on the shop floor.

Key Responsibilities
- Assist Duty Manager in daily shop operations including staffing, cash handling, and stock management to maximize sales and ensure compliance with company policies.
- Monitor stock levels and resolve discrepancies to optimize sales opportunities.
- Conduct cash spot-checks and ensure stock shrinkage stays within budget.
- Provide on-the-job training to sales teams to enhance customer service and product knowledge.
- Coordinate shift handovers and complete closing procedures per company standards.
- Manage sales returns, void slips, and staff discount authorizations with strict adherence to company policy.
- Respond proactively to guest feedback and complaints, escalating issues when necessary.
- Deputize for the Duty Manager as required.
- Lead daily team briefings on promotions and product launches to ensure team readiness.
- Play an active role in achieving daily sales targets by motivating and directing the sales team.

Requirements
- Relevant tertiary, vocational degree, diploma, or equivalent.
- Minimum of 4 years’ experience in a related retail supervisory role.
- Proven expertise in retail inventory management and stock control.
- Strong analytical skills and ability to manage complex issues.
- Excellent leadership and team management skills.
- Ability to prioritize tasks, work under pressure, and meet deadlines.
- High level of confidentiality, creativity, and project management capabilities.
