The service will run from Stadium Bus Station in Dubai to Al Jubail Bus Station in Sharjah, with a one-way fare of Dh12.
- Global Village Seasonal Closure: Global Village, a popular family attraction, will close for the summer on May 11. To celebrate the end of its 29th season, it will offer free entry to children under 12, a change from its usual policy.
- Thailand’s Digital Arrival Card: Effective May 1, all foreign travelers to Thailand must submit a Digital Arrival Card (TDAC) before arrival, replacing the traditional paper form. This electronic form must be completed in advance and is part of efforts to enhance border control.
- WhatsApp Support Changes: From May 5, WhatsApp will cease support for older iPhones running iOS versions earlier than 15.1. Affected models include iPhone 5s, 6, and 6 Plus, which are now classified as ‘obsolete’ by Apple.
- New Climate Change Law: A new climate change law will take effect on May 30, requiring businesses in the UAE to track and manage their greenhouse gas emissions. This law aims to support the country’s sustainability goals and promote innovation in environmental practices.
