The Roads and Transport Authority (RTA) in Dubai has announced that the GGICO Metro Station will be renamed to Al Garhoud Metro Station starting April 14, 2025.
This decision was communicated via a tweet on X, where the RTA also shared a map highlighting the station’s location on the Red Line of the Dubai Metro.
This renaming follows a recent trend, as just last month, the Al Khail Metro Station was renamed to Al Fardan Exchange after a naming rights agreement with the financial service provider.
The RTA continues to enhance and update the metro system to better serve the needs of commuters across the city.
