The vendors were found operating in labor accommodation areas, selling unregulated products often under unsanitary conditions. Vehicles used for transporting these non-compliant goods were also seized.
Lieutenant Colonel Talib Al Amiri, head of the Anti-Street Vending Section, emphasized the importance of maintaining public order and safety.
He warned consumers against purchasing food items from unlicensed vendors, as these products frequently fail to meet health and safety regulations, posing serious health risks.
Dubai Police continue to monitor illegal street vending around the clock, urging the public to report any violations through the “Police Eye” service on their smart app or by calling 901.
The campaign aims to foster a safe environment and curb negative practices that could harm the city’s reputation.
