Saudi Authorities Confiscate Three Foreign Trucks for Illegal Cargo Transport

In a significant enforcement action, Saudi authorities have confiscated three foreign trucks for illegally transporting goods within the Kingdom.
The Transport General Authority (TGA) announced that the operators of these trucks were fined SR10,000 each for violating transport regulations.

The seizure, supported by security forces, highlights the strict prohibition under Saudi law against foreign trucks conducting domestic cargo transport without proper authorization.
The TGA emphasized that penalties for repeated violations can escalate significantly, with fines potentially reaching up to SR160,000 and vehicle impoundment lasting as long as 60 days.
Authorities reiterated their commitment to monitoring compliance and enforcing regulations to protect fair competition in the logistics sector.
