Avoid These 7 Key Penalties for Emirates ID and Visa Fines in the UAE

The Federal Authority for Identity, Citizenship, Customs and Ports Security (ICP) has announced that individuals who have delayed the renewal of their Emirates ID may be exempt from fines or penalties.

Key Emirates ID Fines
The ICP has outlined several administrative fines related to Emirates ID and residency services. Here are seven key penalties to be aware of:
- Delay in Registration and Issuance of ID Card: Dh20 per day, up to a maximum of Dh1,000.
- Delay in Renewing ID Card (after 30 days of expiry): Dh20 per day, up to a maximum of Dh1,000.
- Providing Incorrect Data: Dh3,000 fine.
- Inaccurate Typing by System Users: Dh100 fine.
- Obstructing Employees or Failing to Cooperate: Dh5,000 fine.
- Issuing Visas for Non-Active Establishments: Dh20,000 fine.
- Misusing the System: Dh5,000 fine.
