Role Overview:
The primary focus of this Mechanical Technician role is to carry out dealership services on customer vehicles as per company standards. The goal is to ensure optimum quality, increased productivity, and technical efficiency, thereby contributing to workshop revenue generation without any repeat concerns.
Key Responsibilities:
- Promptly execute service repairs as per the provided schedule.
- Report any additional job requirements with cost estimates.
- Maintain check sheets and log sheets.
- Upkeep tools and equipment in the individual bay as per company standards.
- Ensure zero repeat repairs through proper diagnosis and troubleshooting.
- Conduct final inspections as per standard operating procedures.
- Deliver the desired efficiency and productivity as per targets.
- Ensure prompt punch in and punch out to get accurate booking hours.
- Complete training courses, internal assessments, and other on-the-job training as scheduled.
- Enroll and obtain certifications as per the principal’s guidelines.
- Ensure the use and maintenance of appropriate PPEs.
- Report all incidents to the supervisor.
