Key Responsibilities:
- Assist young children and students as they board and exit the bus.
- Ensure all students are seated safely and seat belts (if applicable) are fastened.
- Monitor student behavior and ensure a safe and orderly environment during transport.
- Assist the bus driver with communication and directions during the route.
- Help children with special needs or mobility challenges, as required.
- Maintain a clean and organized bus environment.
- Report any issues or incidents to school officials or the bus driver.
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience working with children is a plus.
- Patience, kindness, and strong communication skills.
- Ability to handle emergency situations calmly.
- Physical ability to assist children on and off the bus, including lifting or guiding if necessary.
- Punctual and reliable with a professional attitude.
