Job Description

Assemble, install, test and maintain electrical wiring such as appliances and fluorescent fixtures by using hand tools and power tools.
Diagnose malfunctioning systems by using test equipment to locate the cause of a break down and correct the problem.
Troubleshooting/ inspect electrical systems to identify hazards and defects if need for adjustment or repair.
Advise management on whether continued operation of equipment could be hazardous and suitable solutions.
Test electrical systems and continuity of circuits in electrical wiring, equipment and fixtures, using testing devices such as ohmmeters, voltmeters etc. To ensure compatibility and safety of system.
Work from ladders, scaffolds and roofs to install for maintain or repair electrical wiring.
Provide assistance during emergencies by operating generators and other equipment.
Conduct preventive maintenance programs and keep maintenance records.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Willing to work under pressure with less supervision.
Installation of electrical wirings, equipment, machines or program to specifications.
