Job Description

Perform all hands on carpentry works not limited to maintenance, minor renovations and construction in accordance to standard operation procedures, specification and standards best practice in order to accomplish high standards of quality works.
Reviewing, interpreting and understanding all plans, drawings, checklist, works orders or otherwise seek explanation from supervisor so that works can be executed following the working procedures and obtaining high quality of workmanship.
Assist supervisor in identifying materials required to execute carpentry work prior to place a requisition.
Assist Store to check materials deliveries for accuracy in quantity and free from any defect.
Monitor tools and electrical equipment in proper working conditions at all time and inform supervisor of any unsafe conditions in order to avoid unwanted incident.
Perform interior renovation and construction work, including fabrication and installation of door and doorframe; window and window frame; cabinetry, furniture, tables, stairs, flooring, ceiling, roof and others carpentry works, all works shall in accordance to standard best practice and achieving highest quality of workmanship.

High school / related qualification
Minimum 2yrs experience in a similar role
Technical hands-on experience in maintenance, installation, jointing modification of carpentry related fit out and furniture. Including finishes and polishing.
Past experience in airport, large commercial facilities or five star hotel environment preferred
