Description – External

As a Cafeteria Supervisor you are responsible in Establishing excellent client relationship ensuring professional services and trains monitor and take correct action, implementing the record keeping system of HACCP (Hazard Analysis Critical Control Point) standard. Responsible for handling day to day operations of assigned outlets of the cafeteria and ensures that the standard of service and cleanliness are maintained. Ensures food security and controls stock levels and suggest for promotion of cafeteria outlets. The role has to secure catering products (Food and Non-food) and receiving them ensuring the right temperatures and in proper HACCP (Hazard Analysis Critical Control Point) standard

About the Role

As an Electrical Engineer, you will be responsible for helping us achieve this ambition through:

  • Establish good working relationship with the customers who are having meals on our cafeteria.
  • Responsible for the commercial follow-up of the project by exploring new opportunities and establish contact with existing customers to improve the cafeteria food safety, service quality and hygiene.
  • Trains the staff and ensures that the standard of service and cleanliness are maintained as per HACCP standard.
  • Responsible to implements all policies and procedures of Cafeteria. Suggest and recommend positive amendments when and if required.
  • Supervises the service and interacts with guests to attend their needs to the best possible manner. Ensures food security and controls daily stock levels of cafeteria.
  • Coordinates to all concerned departments for smooth operations.

  • Evaluates the standard of HACCP and take the corrective action.
  • Ensures the front area of the cafe kept to the required standard of cleanliness and maintenance.
  • Discusses operational problems as well as suggestions to promote cafeteria outlets with cafeteria manager.
  • Ensures adequate staffing to the service lines and control the portioning to the customers. Ensures that each staff is well groomed, properly wearing uniform, wearing name badges, refrain from wearing sandals or slippers, clean shaved/trimmed haired, refrain from gossiping and shouting in public area.
  • Makes periodical stock-check of crockery, cutlery, linen, glassware and submits the report to cafeteria manager.

Qualifications

Qualifications – External

In order to be successful in this role, we are looking for the candidates with Bachelor’s Degree or Equivalent with Minimum 2 years of job-related experience. High School Qualification / Vocational Qualification /Diploma or Equivalent (Type of Diploma Based on Role) with Minimum3 years of job-related experience.

Essential

  • Good spoken & written English
  • Managerial skills – Ability to delegate work, set clear direction and manage workflow. Strong mentoring and coaching skills. Ability to train and develop subordinate’s skills. Ability to foster teamwork among team members.

Preffered

Previous work experience in Hotel/ Restaurants as a Senior Supervisor ▪
Computer literate and POS knowledge preferable
