Dubai: 2-Year-Old Rescued from Locked Car After Choking

Dubai Police successfully rescued a two-year-old boy who was trapped in a locked vehicle while his parents were shopping.
The incident occurred when the child accidentally locked himself inside, leading to signs of suffocation.

The child’s mother, upon returning to the car, realized the situation and immediately contacted the police for assistance.
Special rescue teams from the General Department of Transport and Rescue quickly responded and managed to extract the child safely.
Expressing her gratitude, the mother described the incident as a “painful lesson,” urging other parents to never leave children unattended in vehicles.
In the past four months, Dubai Police have handled 92 cases involving children trapped in cars, elevators, or locked homes.
Authorities emphasized the importance of parental responsibility and preventive measures to ensure children’s safety, particularly in public places.
This incident serves as a reminder of the potential dangers of leaving children alone in cars, especially in high temperatures.
