Here are the 12 important details that your Iqama card will display:
- Full Name in English: Your name is prominently displayed at the top of the card in English.
- Full Name in Arabic: Directly underneath, your name is written in Arabic.
- Iqama Number in Arabic: This is your unique Iqama number, found in Arabic. If you can’t read Arabic, you can also find it in English under the barcode on the left side.
- Iqama ID Version: This shows how many times your Iqama has been issued. If it’s your first Iqama, this will be marked as ‘1’. Upon renewal, it will be updated to ‘2’.
- Place of Issue: This section usually indicates that the card was issued through electronic services.
- Date of Issue: Displays the date when your Iqama was issued, formatted according to the Hijri calendar.
- Date of Birth: Your date of birth is provided in the Gregorian calendar.
- Profession: This indicates your job title or profession as registered.
- Nationality: Your country of citizenship is listed here.
- Religion: This section states your religion.
- Name of Employer: The name of your employer or sponsor is included on the card.
- Iqama Number in English: This is the same unique Iqama number, displayed in English, located under your photograph and a barcode.
