Qualifications:
- Previous experience in a kitchen environment is an advantage, but not essential
- A passion for cooking and an eagerness to learn and develop culinary skills
- Basic knowledge of food safety and hygiene practices
- Strong work ethic with attention to detail and the ability to work well under pressure
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to work as part of a team
- Flexibility and willingness to work in various kitchen stations
- A professional culinary qualification is preferred but not required
About The Job:
- Assist in the preparation and cooking of food in accordance with the menu and kitchen standards.
- Ensure that food is prepared in a safe, clean, and organized environment.
- Follow instructions from senior kitchen staff and help with the day-to-day operation of the kitchen.
- Ensure high standards of food presentation and taste.
- Help maintain inventory levels and monitor the freshness of ingredients.
- Adhere to all food safety and hygiene guidelines, ensuring a safe working environment.
- Assist with the setup and breakdown of kitchen stations and equipment.
- Support the team in maintaining a smooth and efficient kitchen service.
