About the Role:
At Hamad International Airport, we believe that our success is driven by exceptional talent. We are seeking skilled individuals who can deliver complex and professional carpentry work at HIA.
Job Responsibilities:
- Execute advanced carpentry tasks, including but not limited to hard and soft woods, as well as structural work.
- Perform maintenance, renovations, and construction-related carpentry, including cutting, joining, planing, sanding, and similar activities.
- Read and interpret technical drawings, conducting site inspections to ensure project accuracy.
- Assist in the identification and pre-ordering of suitable materials.
- Inspect materials to ensure they meet specified quality standards and are free from defects.
- Determine appropriate adhesives and consumables for effective manufacturing and installation.
- Operate complex carpentry machinery.
- Train and supervise junior staff, ensuring projects are completed on time and to the required standards.

Qualifications:
- High school diploma with a minimum of 3 years of relevant work experience.
- Certification in woodwork or carpentry.
- Experience in the manufacture and installation of cabinetry and carpentry fixtures.
- Proficiency in written and spoken English.
