Qatar MoFA Website Now Offers New Electronic Document Attestation Services
The Ministry of Foreign Affairs (MoFA) has introduced new electronic document attestation services on its website as of October 6, 2024.

These services enable the electronic attestation of police clearance certificates issued by the Ministry of Interior and educational certificates from government schools, validated by the Ministry of Education and Higher Education.
HE Mohammed Abdullah Al Subaie, Director of the Department of Consular Affairs at MoFA, highlighted that beneficiaries can now attest their documents quickly and conveniently at any time, without needing to visit the Attestation Section at the Consular Affairs building or government service centers.
Users can access these services through the MoFA website by logging in via the National Authentication System, with processing times taking as little as one minute.

Additionally, the ministry will collaborate with Qatar Post and the Government Contact Center (109) for document reception and delivery. Support for these electronic services will be available 24/7 in nine languages.
HE Abdulaziz Mohammed Al Naemi, Director of the Information Technology Department at MoFA, announced that more electronic services will be added to the website in the near future, as part of the ministry’s commitment to digitizing and enhancing service delivery for users.
