This initiative, managed by the Islamic Network (Islamweb) within the Department of Religious Call and Guidance, aims to improve access to Islamic rulings and knowledge, in line with the Ministry’s objective of establishing Islamweb as a leading online source for trustworthy Islamic information.
Following the successful launch of a WhatsApp Live Fatwa feature in June, which handled over 29,000 inquiries during the summer, the Ministry is now extending its services to Telegram, one of the world’s most popular apps.
The Telegram service allows users to directly connect with scholars for answers to their religious questions, reinforcing the Ministry’s dedication to providing convenient and reliable Islamic guidance. It simplifies the process of obtaining rulings on various subjects, from worship to legal issues, through an easy-to-use digital platform.

Mal Allah Abdulrahman Al Jaber, Director of the Department of Religious Call and Guidance, noted that users can submit their questions via Islamweb’s Telegram page, where scholars respond on the same platform.
They cover a range of topics and provide access to a database of over 300,000 fatwas.
This service primarily serves Arabic-speaking Muslims in Qatar and globally, broadening the platform’s international reach.
