Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare and serve a variety of coffee and tea beverages, including espresso, cappuccino, latte, and other specialty drinks.
- Operate coffee-making equipment, such as espresso machines and grinders, with precision and care.
- Greet customers warmly, take their orders, and answer any questions they may have about the menu.
- Ensure that beverages are prepared to the highest standards, with attention to detail in presentation and taste.
- Maintain a clean and organized workspace, including the coffee bar, equipment, and seating areas.
- Monitor inventory levels of coffee beans, milk, syrups, and other supplies, and report any shortages to management.
- Handle cash transactions accurately and efficiently.
- Adhere to health and safety regulations, including food handling and sanitation practices.
- Provide personalized recommendations to customers based on their preferences.
- Assist with the preparation of simple food items, such as sandwiches and pastries, as needed.
- Participate in team meetings and training sessions to stay updated on menu changes and service standards.
- Foster a positive and friendly environment for both customers and team members.
Requirements:
- Previous experience as a Barista or in a similar role is preferred.
- Strong knowledge of coffee brewing techniques and espresso-based drinks.
- Excellent customer service and communication skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Flexibility to work various shifts, including early mornings, weekends, and holidays.
- A passion for coffee and a keen attention to detail.
- Proficiency in English; additional languages are a plus.
- High school diploma or equivalent is preferred.
- A positive attitude and a team-oriented mindset.
