Job Description

Ensure the production line is set to produce the expected output as directed by the department head
Ensure proper handover between shifts and escalation if required.
Ensure the sufficient team members are available prior starting the shift
Gain sufficient experience and knowledge in all equipment and machinery as assigned, to be fluent with equipment manufacturer’s guidelines, safe operating tips, SOPs, and basic maintenance and trouble-shooting skills.
Perform quick serviceability checks on the assigned equipment and machinery upon reporting on duty as well as before finishing the shift.
Record and report all mechanical irregularities impacting the smooth operation of the equipment and machinery.
Pre-set the assigned lines and belts at the optimal speed / intervals as per product specifications.
Ensure the smooth operation of the equipment and machinery throughout the shift and sections as assigned.
Guide and train other staff (who are not Operators) in proper operation of the equipment and machinery.
Analyze and adjust equipment settings by increasing the speed and/or reducing the intervals to achieve optimal operational efficiency without compromising safety and quality.
Coordinate with all concerned seniors on duty within and outside the department in case of any emergency.
Ensure the daily KPIs are met and report any deviation.

High School Qualification / Vocational Qualification / Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree or Equivalent
Minimum 2 years of relevant experience (preferably experience in operating food production/ bakery mass production/ equipment or machinery)
