The Crescent Sighting Committee at the Ministry of Endowments and Islamic Affairs made this announcement following the sunset prayers today, Sunday.
Sehri Time in Doha is 04:29 am and Iftar Time is 5:42 pm on Islamic date 29 Shaban, 1445.

According to the Committee, the crescent moon signifying the start of Ramadan was sighted in the country today.

The committee had urged all Muslims in the State of Qatar to observe the sky this evening to spot the crescent of Ramadan and provide their testimony at the Ministry headquarters in Dafna.
